IMMOMIG SA acquires Immodating SA

The Fribourg-based company is strengthening its position in the digital rental sector with the acquisition of Immodating SA. Founded in 2012, the Neuchâtel-based company is a pioneer in digital rental files in Switzerland, with more than 15,000 files processed. Following the merger, IMMOMIG SA will be able to accelerate the development of its innovative DigiRENT solution.
A strategic acquisition. For many years, IMMOMIG SA has been responding to a recurring problem affecting the rental process. Renting is an administrative procedure that is almost entirely paper-based. A potential tenant has to go to the office to fill in a form and submit copies of documents (identity papers, extract from the debt enforcement register, salary statements, residence permits, guarantors, etc.). A member of staff then analyses the data and enters it into a computer system. This procedure is time-consuming, complex and not very transparent for all parties.
A solution to a problem. In response to this problem, Neuchâtel-based Immodating SA was the first to launch a digital file service in Switzerland, back in 2012. Founded by Jim Hershkowitz and Vincent Pazeller, it has helped tenants and housing associations to submit and process more than 15,000 applications online. Today, two property management companies use its services: Bernard Nicod SA and FM Management SARL. The founders of Immodating SA have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and are keen to launch other activities accepted IMMOMIG SA's offer.
